The Forum is where the members of the Agora meet. We want to be a community that knows each other and makes new music together.
Send a video
Members send videos for four of the Agora’s YouTube series: a technique, three questions, a work played through the Agora, a piece made together. The site keeps no files: send a link. Go to the form
How to film it
- Extended Techniques Glossary
- 20 to 40 seconds, filmed horizontally. No talking, a quiet room; a phone is enough. Show the instrument up close. Play the technique on its own first, then in a short musical context. We add the name card.
- Three questions
- Answer the three questions: What are you working on? What are you looking for on the Agora? What was the last sound that surprised you? At most 2 minutes, vertical or horizontal.
- Played through the Agora
- A performance of a work listed on the Agora, complete or in part. Everyone who plays in the video agrees to it.
- Made together
- A work written in the Sound Atelier or commissioned through the Agora. Everyone who plays in the video agrees to it.
Agora Conversations, Wanted, in 30 seconds and First pages are made by the Agora; there is nothing to send for them.
The editors check the conditions: the link opens, sound and picture are clear, and a glossary video shows that technique. If something is missing, they send it back with a short note.
