Sound Atelier

A small room where music starts from a spark.

Anyone can open an atelier: a composer, a performer, or someone who simply has an idea. Say who you are in the project and who you need, whether that's three composers, a guitarist's recording, a field recording from another city, or material for an AI corpus. People join, add what they can, and the piece takes shape among them.

Everything here is recorded and sent remotely; nothing happens live. The person who opens an atelier sets its starting point and can open new rounds as the work grows, and contributors can leave notes alongside their sounds.

What you can bring: instrumental recordings, voice and spoken text, field recordings, corpus material, fixed media, and short score or text fragments.

Credits: Everyone who takes part is named, as composer, performer or contributor, according to what they brought.

What comes out of it: Each atelier ends with a finished piece, published on its page with full credits. The piece and the atelier also appear on every participant's profile, as a work they helped make. Contributors keep the rights to their own sounds, and everyone credited can share and present the finished piece as part of their own work.

In short: Sound Atelier is a shared workshop where everyone on the Agora can make music together.
